Auctions
BLUMEX purchases her products on almost all Dutch flower auctions. A large part of this takes place on a basis of (outstanding) customer orders, the remaining part ia added to the stock and used for free sales (speculation).
Growers
Apart from our daily auction purchases we also trade a lot with well-established growers. Through the added value of the direct purchases from growers we are able to provide our customers with an even better service and quality/price relation.
Something for everybody
By creating a good offer BLUMEX is perfectly capable of fulfilling the wishes of the customer. One of the strongest points of the purchase of BLUMEX is that our buyers know the specific demands of the customers and with this information can make market specific purchases.
Specialism and Professionality
Our buyers each have their individual specialism, such as: Roses, tulips, anthurium/cymbidium, gerberas, carnations, irises, lilies, verdures, chrysanthemums and the rest. So each has his own purchase territory.

Service & Quality
BLUMEX sets a lot of value to providing quality and service. Our salespersons, as well as our purchase team, daily keep in touch with our customers. This enables us to react quickly to changes in the needs of our customers. We do this by listening to the customer and if necessary by advising about the composition and the purchase of a certain assortment.
Specialism en Professionality
For each country and/or region we have professional sales persons at our disposal. They are either “native speakers” or have sufficient language knowledge to attend to the customer. Also each salesperson has a thorough knowledge of the products and the market.
E-commerce
Apart from the traditional contacts with our customers we think it would be a practical addition to have the possibility of granting immediate access to our stock through an E-commerce solution, as well as the possibility to order directly from stock.
The direct contact of our salespersons with the customer however always remains the most important for BLUMEX.
Our E-commerce solution is not, as so many other similar systems, accomplished through a secured VPN connection in order to protect your privacy. We use so-called "Thin Client" technology by means of a piece of software that has to be installed on your computer systems. As soon as you are connected, you will be directly in the BLUMEX system and, just as our salespersons, will be able to buy from or actual stock.
